In the summer of 2010, we invited a group of food bloggers to indulge in a one-of-a-kind experience: a fine-dining “Steak and Eggs Breakfast” at Bull & Bear.  After just a few bites, the participants raved over this memorable meal as some began tweeting mouth-watering photos to their fans.

Here were some of their comments:

  • In his blog The Wandering Cook, Marc Matsomato called it “one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten before 11am.”
  • In her blog NY City Mama, Carol Cain said [Bull & Bear] “aimed for unforgettable, and achieved it in the best way possible.”
  • In her blog Carrots ‘n’ Cake, Tina Haupert raved “My goodness was this meal impressive! I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Obviously, the food tasted amazing, but the staff at the Bull & Bear truly enhanced the dining experience.”
  • In her blog Food Mayhem,   Jessica Binder said the “adorable” (her word) Chef David Sears knows how to season the Certified Angus Beef.  “The atmosphere is one I want to come back for … , and of course for the Tomahawk Steaks.”

Almost immediately, our guests began to ask when we would be offering this opportunity again!

Bull & Bear, named Best Fine Dining by Orlando Home & Leisure and Orlando DiningGuide, is a dinner venue, so the meal was not offered again... until now.

For one month only during Orlando Food & Wine Weekends, we bring back the spectacle that is known as “Steak and Eggs Breakfast at Bull & Bear,” featuring prime-grade Certified Angus Beef. (Not only is Bull & Bear the only place to exclusively get this grade of meat in Orlando… it is probably the only place you can get it for breakfast in the entire country!)

Orlando Food & Wine Festival Weekends

Steak & Eggs Breakfast at Bull & Bear will be served Sunday mornings in October.  It is available for $49 per person, and includes tax and gratuity, as well as a drink from the Bloody Mary Station. (Menu available soon).
